Asso. Professor Dr. Hamida Akhter is an accomplished Gynecologist and Obstetrics Surgeon with more than 35 years of experience. She completed her MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College, followed by her MCPS from BCPS, and DGO from BSMMU respectively. She had served in different capacity throughout her career in many institutions including upazila health complexes, Dhaka Medical College, Cumilla Medical College, and lately in Mymensingh Medical College & Hospital. Her passion and determinations in providing articulated health service is highly admired by her patients and peers. She performed numerous complicated surgeries in Gynae and Obs throughout her the career. Apart from her important role as a Chairman at Peoples Diagnostic and Hospital (PDH), see is actively practicing to serve the community. She is involved in overall service development of PDH.
